David Cameron in Wolverhampton

May 1, 2007

Last Thursday David Cameron visited Wolverhampton. He met with all our candidates who are standing in the local elections. David then walked to the train station.

David’s message was clear:

The mission of the modern Conservative Party is to improve the quality of life for everyone, and local councils have a leading role to play. Throughout the country, Conservative councils are delivering better services and lower council taxes.

We’re also fighting crime and grime at the local level – tackling anti-social behaviour that can devastate people’s quality of life. Official figures show that Conservative councils have the cleanest streets, with lower levels of litter, graffiti and fly-posting.

That’s why going green is not just good for the environment, but makes a real difference to their quality of life.

On May 3rd, people will have the chance to vote for change.

The Conservative Party’s message is simple: Vote blue, Go green.
